The new 2017 Dodge RAM 2500 is a brand new vehicle and comes built on industry-exclusive off-road tech like solid axles and includes, all-terrain tires, a disconnecting front sway bar and a manual transfer case. The model is actually going to be a makeover of the Ram 1500 Rebel.
The makeovers that have been done to the RAM 2500 have been seen for the first time on the Rebel model, for instance on the grille, the trim package and new graphics that are matched on the inside and outside parts of the truck.
But the biggest news for the car is actually the added engine and the powertrain changes that have been made. The model gets a much powerful setup and we see a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8, with six-speed automatic transmission, 4WD system.
The carryover also includes the Tradesman trim level which is actually what the public has been expecting the most. Besides the Cummins turbodiesel engine is one of the news for the car which has been expected to be fitted on the model in order to enable better fuel efficiency and better specs.
